The end of June is normally the time when university students take a break for the summer and for many this means going home until the next academic year. Some are off on a gap year, while others are finishing for good and making the next step in their journey.
For landlords and ladies this is a busy time of year as lots of students will be leaving their properties for the holidays, with plenty moving out for good. Therefore, there will be many empty flats, houses and apartments that need to be cleared out.
It won’t be a surprise to find that while there are definitely conscientious students out there, others do give the group a bad name due to property damage and general neglect of their surroundings. When the keys are handed back, not everybody will be getting their deposits back.
The main issue however is the general cleaning that needs to be done at the end of the tenancy. This is definitely going to be a big job, which is why it is advisable to call in the specialists as this can be carried out cost effectively and thoroughly.
